Scenic drives in VICTORIA ... Wharf Street to Market Square

Wharf Street - Downtown

Just around the corner from the downtown Inner Harbour is Wharf Street. Filled with lovely pastry and ice cream shops, this is a tourist delight! Stop for lunch at several eateries including of course, The Wharf Side Eatery.

Continue along Wharf Street and you will pass Johnson Street (one way) until you reach Market Square.

Market Square Entrance - Johnson Street

Market Square is formerly part of the "Old Town" of Victoria. It has three levels of unique shops and restaurants, including a fudge factory, a place to get "those hot little cinnamon doughnuts", a specialty condom shop, gems and gifts from India, a tarot card and spiritual store, psychic readings, and books, books and more books.

Inside Market Square

Once inside Market Square, there are so many things to do and see.

Musicians and musical events make Market Square in downtown Victoria a venue for concerts and multicultural festivals.
